We're looking for passionate young people to become advisors to lead us in the design and development of this new digital platform!
Who are we looking for?
We're recruiting rangatahi advisors aged 17–25 years who are interested in:
-
design
-
digital
-
media
-
community leadership and engagement
-
project management
-
health and hauora
-
education
-
marketing and communications
-
social services
-
equity.
We especially want to amplify the voices of rangatahi Māori, Pasifika youth, rainbow youth, youth living with disabilities and those who live with a long-term condition (ie, diabetes, mental illness, chronic pain etc).
What do advisors do?
Shape up and create the chosen digital platform. The advisors will attend up to six online workshops across the next three months, bringing their insights and personal experiences to help us make sure that what is developed will actually be used by, and work for, Kiwi youth.
Is the role paid?
Yes! Being an advisor will also give you health sector and design experience so you can add that to your CV. There will be many opportunities to connect with other young people along the way.
You can register your interest in these advisor positions through the survey or by emailing kiaora@healthnavigator.org.nz.
Check out our survey here!
We also want to hear from rangatahi organisations!
We invite involvement from rangatahi allies and supporters!
We love to collaborate and are keen to connect with those who already work with rangatahi in health and wellbeing to explain what we are doing, see what they think and how they could participate. It may be that you have rangatahi reps who could become an advisor for this project and give your group's perspective.
If you’re interested in this project, please reach out to us and forward this information to others you know who work in this space and might like to know more.
Nau mai, haere mai e te whānau o rangatahi.
Kōrero with us!
The value in a gift is inherent in its giving. Every contribution is valuable.
Give us a call, we would love to kōrero.
